Terms of Service

Págame helps you understand your market pay and negotiate for it. We compute a gender-blind salary band and target from public U.S. government wage data, give you a negotiation script, and let you (optionally) contribute a salary to an anonymous pool, report your outcome, and book paid 1:1 coaching.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Págame. The service is intended for use in the United States.

Keep your account information accurate and your sign-in secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; don’t impersonate anyone or sign up on someone else’s behalf without permission.

Please read this one. The numbers, benchmarks, and scripts Págame provides are for information and education only. They are computed from public government data and are not financial, legal, tax, investment, or employment advice, and they are not a promise or guarantee of any salary, raise, offer, or outcome.

Pay depends on many factors we don’t control. Government data can be delayed, estimated, or unavailable for some occupations and places, and we present the best available figure (which may fall back to a broader area). Decisions about your career and compensation are yours. For advice specific to your situation, consult a qualified professional.

If you add a salary to the pool, report an outcome, or upload an offer or raise letter, you confirm that:

• the information is truthful and relates to you;
• you have the right to share it and it doesn’t violate anyone’s rights or any agreement (e.g. a confidentiality clause) you’re bound by;
• where a feature asks you to self-identify (e.g. contributing to the women’s pool), your affirmation is honest.

You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us a license to use it to operate the service and to create anonymized, aggregated market insights that can’t identify you — including selling or licensing those aggregated insights to third parties (which may include compensation platforms and employers). This never includes selling your personal information. As described in the Privacy Policy, uploaded documents are kept private and deleted after verification. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

Please don’t:

• submit false, misleading, or someone else’s personal data;
• scrape, harvest, reverse-engineer, or copy the service or its data at scale;
• disrupt, overload, or try to break the security of the service;
• use Págame for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm others;
• resell or commercially exploit the service or its outputs without our permission.

Coaching sessions are optional and paid. Prices are shown before you buy. Payments are processed by our payment provider — Stripe, or Calendly when you book through our scheduling link; by purchasing, you also agree to that provider’s terms. Págame never receives or stores your full card details.

Scheduling & refunds:if you book through our scheduling link you pick your slot at checkout; otherwise you send preferred times after payment and we confirm a slot by email. You may reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice. If you need to cancel before your session, contact us at hello@pagame.aiand we’ll work with you on a reschedule or refund. Completed sessions are non-refundable.

Págame — the software, brand, name, logo, and content we create — belongs to us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for its intended purpose. The underlying government wage data is public and not owned by us.

Some features (the guided intake, occupation matching, and your script) are assisted by AI and may occasionally be imperfect or inaccurate. Your salary number itself is computed by a fixed formula, not written by AI. Review anything before you act on it, and you’re responsible for what you choose to send or say.

We rely on third parties (for hosting, authentication, AI, email, and payments) and on public data sources (Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Census). We don’t control and aren’t responsible for third-party services or the accuracy of government data, though we work to present it faithfully.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.”To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any figure is accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Págame and its team won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, wages, opportunities, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100.

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or of anyone’s rights.

You can stop using Págame anytime and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or others. The sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. disclaimers, liability limits) will survive termination.

We may update these Terms; we’ll change the date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use Págame after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Illinois will have jurisdiction over any dispute. We’ll always try to resolve concerns with you directly first — please reach out.
