Rita is Págame’s Puerto Rican hummingbird guide. She asks the questions that build your profile, and she explains what your result means once Págame has calculated it. She is not a general career chatbot, and the difference is the point.

Págame needs your role, your level, your city, your scope and what you earn now. Rita asks for them in a conversation instead of a fifteen-field form, in whatever order the conversation actually goes — and if you volunteer something she did not ask for, she takes it. A résumé makes it faster and is never required.
Your market range, your target, your gap and your Power Score are computed by a fixed formula from government wage data. Rita does not write them, adjust them, round them or soften them. This is the part of the product she is not allowed to touch.
Why your range looks the way it does, why you are where you are on it, which of your strengths carries the most weight, and whether the case you have is worth making now. Every figure she cites is one Págame already calculated.
Your script is written around your target and is not permitted to ask for less than it. Rita talks you through what to lead with, and what to say when the answer is not yes.
The one row without her face is the one that is arithmetic. That is not an oversight in the design — it is the design.
A short list, answered from your own record.
Once you have your number, Rita answers a fixed set of questions about it. No model runs on that screen at all: every figure in her answer is read straight from the plan Págame already calculated, or, on your Progress page, from your own Power Score history, which is why she cannot get one wrong.
During the intake itself she is a real conversation and you can tell her anything — that the title on your contract is not the job you do, that you are between roles, that the number on your offer is not the whole package. That is where her words are written by a model, and it is marked as such.
A model writes the words. It never writes the money.
This is the rule the whole product is built on. Language models are good at explaining and bad at being accountable for a figure, so Págame does not let one near your number. Your range, your target and your gap are computed by a fixed formula from published wage data, the same way for everyone.
You can see the seam. Rita’s face marks the places where she is speaking to you, and the line beside it says what wrote the words — a model, or answers read straight from your plan. It never appears beside a figure — not the range, not the target, not the Power Score. Once you know that, you can tell at a glance which part of the screen is a sentence and which part is arithmetic.
The limits are the product.
Not your range, not your target, not your gap, not your Power Score. Those come from a fixed, versioned formula and government wage data. Rita's face never appears beside a figure, and that absence is deliberate: it is how you can tell, at a glance, where the writing stops and the arithmetic starts.
Not because she is told to be careful with it — because there is nowhere in Págame to record it. Gender is not an input to any calculation, and Págame is checked for that before every release.
No script from Págame will tell you this will work. A woman told the case will land, who then hears no, was set up by us. Rita builds your confidence in your case, never in their answer.
The wage curves are published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Census Bureau. Rita reads them to you; she does not produce them, and she cannot make them say something they do not.
Págame tells you what the market pays for your work and helps you ask for it. It does not give legal or financial advice, and Rita will not pretend otherwise.
