Págame
FAQ

Fair questions.

Is Págame free?
Yes — your market value, pay position, and script are free to start. Live expert coaching is an optional premium service for the highest-stakes conversations.
Where does the data come from?
U.S. government sources: Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data (OEWS), U.S. Census Bureau, and O*NET from the Department of Labor. Every number names its source and vintage.
Is my number an AI guess?
No. Your target is deterministic and auditable — computed from published wage curves and a documented level adjustment. AI helps read your résumé and write your script; it never invents your number.
What happens to my résumé?
It becomes your Pay Profile, which you verify and control — the file itself is read in memory and never stored. We never sell personal data, and you can delete everything on request. See our Data Principles.
What does “gender-blind” mean?
Gender is never an input — there’s nowhere to even put it. And because fairness needs proof, not promises, we test every release for disparate outcomes and publish the results.
Is Págame only for women?
Págame is built first for women — pay information has never been distributed equally — and it works the same way for everyone. The computation is identical regardless of who you are.
What if my role doesn't map cleanly?
Hybrid and emerging roles get a wider range, the nearest occupational anchors, and an honest confidence read. Págame never presents a low-confidence number as a fact.
Who is Rita?
Rita is your Págame guide — a short conversation to confirm your role, city, and level, and a rehearsal partner before the real thing. She works for you, not the other side of the table. She is drawn as the iguaca, the Puerto Rican parrot. She writes the words; a fixed formula computes your number, and she can’t change it.
